Andy Borowitz interviewed O. J. Simpson and Alan Greenspan on the craft of writing in a Shouts & Murmurs piece at The New Yorker online.

Every now and then, we ask authors whose work we admire to come to our offices to discuss their work and the craft of writing. Last week, we invited two writers who have just published new books: Alan Greenspan (“The Age of Turbulence”) and O. J. Simpson (“If I Did It”). Here is their conversation.

Author O.J. Simpson . . . . Has a nice ring to it.

For just a moment, I thought the article was for real. (In this day and age, you never know.) Then the absurdity of Simpson and Greenspan doing an interview together came to me. Reading it, of course, confirmed what I should have known right away. Looks like The Onion better watch out, The New Yorker is poaching on their territory!
